The group left the wardens in the chapel, for better or worse, better hopefully. When they emerged Maera found no signs of Lassy, fearing the worst she quickly set out to track the eight legged companion, with Olly in tow. The group split up as Gulch was in no condition to travel, he and Tarser came back to Fairveiw, to claim a reward and sort other things out. Meeting some resistance at the gate, the two made it through with a few jokes from Gulch. They checked in with Captain Braidus, filling them in with the semi-shanty town and the Wardens in the ruins. With Maera and Olly on their hunt for their four by two legged mascot they came upon some kind of temporary camp inside a building on the river. There were a few men, loading barrels onto a small river craft. After eluding them and finding some wierd liquid in the barrels, Maera and Olly headed back to the tavern The Miners Shaft. Tarser and Gulch continued on to the high class ball at the Beatreux Manor, hosted by Jack, Sil and Lara Havenvale, thanks to invites from a certain captain. Mingling at the party they learned of some scandals from one Buxter Mattel, such as the King Wilford Winswicknot attending this noble party. Apparently the king has a very negative view on the Guild of Dungeoneering, attempting to ‘stamp them out’. They did catch up with the hosts, to hand over the shield from the dungeon. Sil seemed quite happy.
